Carole Stiles is a Livingston Christian School alumnus. She graduated from Spring Arbor University in 1999 with a Bachelors degree in Secondary Education with an emphasis in math and Spanish. She married her college sweetheart, Jason, in 1998 and upon graduation from SAU returned to LCS to teach. Later, she stayed home to raise their three children, and returned to LCS in 2008 to teach high school math and Spanish classes. Her children also attend LCS.
Mrs. Stiles teaches Algebra II, Trigonometry, and Precalculus. She has a great passion for all things math, but she especially has a deep love for teenagers. While she loves to see their minds grow and learn, she has a heart for seeing young people become grounded in their commitment to the Lord and develop healthy long-lasting relationships with each other. No amount of academic learning can compare with being rooted and established in God’s Word. Mrs. Stiles also works with her church youth group in Brighton, loves photography, crocheting, reading novels, watching the Detroit Tigers, and spending time with friends and family.
One of her favorite Bible verses is 2 Timothy 3:16-17, “All scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness, so that the man of God can be thoroughly equipped for every good work.”
