Congratulations to our Falcon Cross-Country Teams on a great MHSAA Regional meet in the inaugural season for LCS! Everyone on both the Boys and Girls teams did amazing! Competing for the boys were Levi Hinkle-DeGroot, Heath Stiles, Eli Autry, and Bryce Robinson. Senior Levi Hinkle-DeGroot made history becoming the first ever LCS Falcon runner to qualify for the MHSAA State Meet that will take place this Saturday, November 2nd! Finishing in 14th place out of 76 runners at the Regional, Levi made it inside the Top 15 to advance to State. The Lady XC Falcons had 5 runners competing at the Regional: Lilli Stiles, Sierra Robinson, Bella Morgan, Megan Zimbelman, and Katie Paul. Competing as the only 8th grader in the meet, Lilli Stiles led the Lady Falcons finishing 22nd out of 61 runners. We are so proud of all of our Falcon runners in this inaugural cross-country season! What an accomplishment! A special thanks to Coach Tom Jarema for bringing his love of running to LCS and sharing it with our student-athletes. You have been a huge blessing to our LCS Family. Make your plans to come support Levi Hinkle-DeGroot in the MHSAA State Division 4 Meet that will take place at Michigan International Speedway this Saturday, November 2nd! Go Falcons!!!
The LCS Falcon Athletic Department is excited to offer Boys/Girls Cross-Country. Competing as teams or individuals, all boys and girls from grades 8th through 12th will be able to participate. If you are already competing in other fall sports including soccer and volleyball, you still might be able to be involved as a dual-sport athlete.
